University Clinic of hematology-Skopje and Macedonian hematology association is honored to welcome you to attend the 1ST NORTH MACEDONIA BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT WORKSHOP; 500 bone marrow transplantations: future perspectives and challenges that will be held at Medical faculty, Skopje, North Macedonia during 13-th and 14-th April, 2019. This workshop with international participation is mainly dedicated to bone marrow transplantation, a treatment modality available for our patients from year 2000. Since then, more than 500 procedures are completed at our Clinic. Moreover, unrelated bone marrow transplantation program was started November 2018 when the first unrelated transplant was performed in our country and closer neighborhood. This year, we made one more step forward, the first haploidentical transplantation was performed. In this occasions we decide to start in collaboration with the Macedonian donor registry, supported by the Ministry of health of the North Macedonia, a Country wide campaign, named “Be Someone Marrow”. Our aim is to promote awareness about marrow donation. We are excited that our celebration is honored with the most eminent experts in the field of stem cell transplantation that will share their experience at this occasion. All participants will have special opportunity to network with them during the workshop, to share experience, knowledge and discuss the everyday transplant dilemmas with the most eminent experts in the field. There is no registration fee, but the number of accepted participants is limited. The workshop has CME accreditation from the Macedonian Association of Medicine and Macedonian Chamber of Medicine.
