Subject: TABMED 2025 – Summer Research Program at NCU: Opportunity for
CUID Project Network
Dear All,
I trust this email finds you well. Following our networking collaboration
within the CUPID project, I am reaching out to share an exciting
opportunity that aligns well with our network’s goals of fostering
academic excellence and international cooperation.
I have recently shared with our WG1 members information about TABMED
(Toruń and Bydgoszcz Medical Summer Program), where I serve as coordinator
at Nicolaus Copernicus University. Given our project’s emphasis on
networking and knowledge exchange, I believe this could be of interest to
students across our broader COST network.
TABMED, part of our university’s Toruń Students Summer Program (TSSP),
offers a 4-week research experience at the Ludwik Rydygier Collegium
Medicum. The program welcomes international students to engage in research
projects across various health-related fields:
Medicine and Pharmacy
Laboratory Medicine
Nursing and Midwifery
Physiotherapy
Public Health
Dietetics
Medical Rescue
Optometry and Cosmetology
As program coordinator and research supervisor of two Health Sciences
projects, I can attest to the valuable experience this provides for
students interested in international research collaboration. The program
perfectly complements COST objectives of building strong academic networks
and fostering knowledge exchange.
If you share my view that this could benefit our network’s students, I
would be grateful if you could disseminate this information within your
respective Work Packages and other Working Groups. The application period
for TABMED 2025 is now open.
Detailed information can be found at:
Program overview: https://tssp.umk.pl
TABMED specific details (including recruitment, accommodation, allowance,
etc): https://tssp.umk.pl/tabmed/index.html
Students can reach out to project advisors directly or contact
tabmed[at]umk.pl for general inquiries.
I believe this opportunity could strengthen the COST network while
providing valuable international experience for our students. Thank you
for considering sharing this within your networks.
Kind regards,
